I absolutely loved the book. It was a very easy read – I finished most of it in one day and I don’t typically read books that quickly. I found the insider point of view on the places the author has worked very interesting.
Hearing first-hand stories about working closely with world leaders and Fortune 500 CEOs really personalized them to me, and even changed my opinion on a few of them.
Inspirational stories for leaders at all levels!
Leader Designed is a fascinating and genuine account of Ms. White’s development as a leader and the lessons she learned from a wide array of leaders who have mentored her throughout her career. This is not a “how to” book for managers. It IS, however, a story that can provide inspiration to managers at every level of business and government.
A Leadership Book for the Rest of Us
There are numerous books on the topic of leadership. I've read a lot of them! "Leader Designed" three characteristics that distinguished it, added to my understanding and made it worth reading. The author writes from the perspective of the led and why we, the led, see reason to follow. This is valuable insight.
